Caloundra: Sand crabs in the passage. Plenty of reasonable flathead in the northern end of the passage at present. Some good whiting off the sand banks in the top end of the passage. Try for mangrove jack in Bells and Coochin Creek and try in Pelican Waters canals

Donna Wilson and Paul Randall were fishing on a hire boat in the Maroochy River when they caught this 55cm dusky flathead.
