Much better conditions today as winds will be west to southwesterly 10 to 15 knots turning north to northwesterly in the early afternoon then tending west to northwesterly in the late evening. Winds reaching up to 20 knots offshore in the evening with seas around 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres offshore north of Maroochydore later in the evening. Tomorrow conditions will be good in close inshore waters early but probably choppy and lumpy out wide away from the coast with winds westerly 15 to 20 knots turning north to northwesterly 10 to 15 knots during the afternoon then tending west to northwesterly during the evening.
