Good conditions close inshore and lumpy out wide will continue today with winds southerly 15 to 20 knots and seas 1.5 to 2 metres, decreasing to 1 to 1.5 metres around midday. Similar conditions tomorrow with a south to southeasterly 15 to 20 knots and seas 1 to 1.5 metres, increasing to 1.5 to 2 metres during the morning. Wild Thing 2 fished D.I.  caught moses perch, good size pearlies, gold spot cod, school mackerel, some nice snapper and a nice little red emperor." www.fishingnoosa.com.au/noosacharters.htm  Sunshine Reef has also had  nice coral trout and grass sweetlip.  A few cobia, quality Spanish mackerel, Long tail tuna out from Sunshine Reef, off Mooloolaba, Coolum and Caloundra. Out on the reefs off Double Island catches of yellowfin tuna, Spanish mackerel, pearlies, big jew / mulloway, cobia, red emperor, scarlet sea perch, hussar and gold spot wrasse and mahi mahi.

Estuaries and Beaches

Noosa: Flathead around Munna Pt and nice golden trevally around the sand bags. Good whiting a few good bream to 39cms and trevally from the River mouth and lower river. A few trevally in Woods bays. Plenty of bream throughout the river Mud crabs about throughout the river.

Maroochydore: A few big prawns schooling and trevally and jew at night in the Cod Hole. Flathead around Chambers Island and Picnic Point. Bream and nice golden trevally from the river mouth. Heaps of mud crabs throughout the river.

Mooloolaba: Good size bream around the rocks walls and Jetties in the lower river. Trevally and flathead from La Balsa Basin. Mud crabs and some quality flathead in the creeks and canals.

Caloundra: Bream and the odd chopper tailor feeding around the bar and throughout the passage. Whiting, bream and flathead along the golden beach stretch. Muddies in the creeks.
