The forecast is looking very ordinary probably right through to Sunday with strong winds, big seas and swells. Today conditions will becoming pretty choppy later in the day with  winds easterly 10 to 15 knots turning southeasterly 15 to 20 knots in the middle of the day and seas around 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres during the morning, then increasing to 1.5 to 2 metres by early evening. Tomorrow, will best to stay in sheltered waters with the forecast is looking at becoming pretty rough with winds southeasterly 20 to 25 knots reaching up to 30 knots at times during the evening and seas 1.5 to 2.5 metres. So when conditions improve be ready for good tuna schooling up along the coast. North Reefs had moses perch, tusk fish, Maori cod, grass sweetlip and gold spot cod. Sunshine has had a  good mixed bag including snapper, sweetlip, moses perch, cobia, cod and also lots of coral trout as well as Spanish mackerel, long tail tuna and maori cod. Spotty and Spanish mackerel and plenty of tuna andlong tail tuna from the Blinker. Cobia, tuna, snapper and grass sweetlip from Caloundra 12 mile.

Estuaries and Beaches

Noosa: Been some good flathead and mangrove jack in Woods Bays. Whiting on worms in the lower river. Flathead and grunter from along Tewantin stretch. Trevally, flathead and bream from the river mouth on the incoming tide. With the dirty water runoff target mud crabs throughout river.

Maroochydore: Jew and cod in the Cod Hole over night. Target the lower river system for bream, whiting and flathead. Mangrove jack around structures and snaggy areas throughout the river and in the creeks. Whiting predominantly in the lower river and mud crabs throughout the river.

Mooloolaba: Bream around the rocks walls, pontoons and Jetties between the Mouth and Minyama Island. Cod and flathead from La Balsa Basin. Grunter bream from McKenzies Bridge area and mud crabs throughout the river.

Caloundra: When the wind eases back try the gutters for dart and bream and jew overnight. Whiting, flathead, bream, trevally in Currimundi Lake. Flathead, golden revally, grunter, whiting and bream between the mouth and Golden Beach. Muddies are moving throughout the passage.
