Local Fishing Report: Thursday 2018-03-08

Offshore

The forecast is looking very ordinary probably right through to Sunday with strong winds, big seas and swells. Today again there is a Strong Wind Warning for Sunshine Coast Waters, so it certainly will be best to stay in sheltered waters with conditions are very rough with winds southeasterly 25 to 30 knots and seas and swells to 2.5 to 3 metres. Similar conditions forecast for tomorrow, with winds southeasterly 25 to 30 knots with seas to 2.5 metres. Looks like a good time to get some order into your fishing gear and be prepared to ‘Chuck a Sickie’ next week when conditions improve so you can get out and do some offshore fishing!
