Local Fishing Report: Friday 2018-09-07

There should be some good fish feeding activity with the fish coming on the bite, as we head into Mondays New Moon Phase. Looking like a reasonable spring day today and weekend ahead with warm and mostly sunny weather with winds light to moderate! Today should be reasonable conditions early in the day with a fresh afternoon sea breeze with winds northeasterly 10 to 15 knots becoming north to northeasterly 15 to 20 knots during the afternoon with seas around 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres during the afternoon. Tomorrow conditions may be workable early with a choppy northerly, with winds northerly 15 to 20 knots tending northwesterly during the evening and seas around 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres offshore. Trekka 2 fished North Reef and caught pearl perch, moses perch, snapper, teraglin jewfish and mulloway.
