Noosa: There a few good whiting feeding in the lower river. A 2kg grunter bream taken in the Woods Bay, while Noosa River Fishing Safari, caught and released a 75cm flathead in the same area. Flathead, moses perch and Jacks in Weyba Creek. Jack and mud crabs along the Tewantin stretch.
Maroochydore: Heaps of herring baitfish in the lower river. Flathead in Petrie and Eudlo Creeks and a 3.5kg giant trevally yesterday at the Cod Hole as well as a golden trevally to 59cm from around Chambers Island. Jack in the upper reaches and a few whiting from Bli Bli, the mouth of Eudlo Creek and the lower river. Mud crabs in the deeper holes of the middle river.
Kawana: Sundays Full Moon will have the fish feeding for several days either side of the moon phase. Dart in the gutters along the beach. Golden trevally on floated pillies along the rock walls at the Mooloolah River mouth. Jack, flathead and Cod in Parrearra Channel and around the twin bridge. Bream, Gar and trevally around the boat moorings.
Caloundra: Flathead in the Blue Hole and at the entrance to Coochin Creek. Whiting opposite Bells Creek and along Golden Beach. Jew, mangrove jack showing up in the creeks and bigger bream at night in the deeper hole of the northern passage. Mud crabs in Coochin Creek and up the canals.
