Noosa: Today should be an excellent day to go offshore and chase a few snapper, mackerel and teraglin jew from local reefs. Bream, whiting and trevally from the river mouth. Flathead around the 60cm mark from Webya creek on live bait and soft plastics. Mangorve jacks from Woods bay at night. Bream, jacks and flathead between the lakes.

Maroochydore:  There were two, 90cm jew taken and a few missed, off the beach on Maroochy North shore on Friday night. Sand crabs in the lower Maroochy and a few mud crabs from the Bli Bli Islands. Mangrove jack around the 50cm size throughout the middle and upper reaches of the Maroochy River. Scattered schools of whiting around the river mouth. Flathead from the mouth of Petrie creek on soft plastics. Dart and bream along Mudjimba beach. Trevally around the motorway bridge pylons.

KawanaSpanish mackerel on Coolum Reef and a few school mackerel on the Outer Gneerings. Sand crabs in mouth of the Mooloolah River.  Whiting have been taking live worms and nippers on the flats above McKenzie’s bridge and a few trevally around McKenzies Bridge. Trevally and bream along La Balsa and around the boat moorings.

Caloundra: Jew and a few GT”s around the bar.  Whiting and dart from Golden beach. Flathead around the mouth of Bells creek on the edge of the weed banks. Some good mangrove jack in the creeks and canals.
