Noosa: Pearl perch and snapper from North Reef. Big schools of trevally and tailor around the Frying Pan at night. Jacks between the lakes and near the Sheraton and up around the lakes on hardy body lures.
Maroochydore: Good numbers of bream from the Cod Hole and on the Corner of Yinni street on live herring and prawns. Mangrove jacks in the upper reaches and from the Cod Hole on live bait. Whiting on nippers and worms from the entrance of Maroochy waters canals and around the dredge.
Kawana: Cobia to 7.5kg, snapper and Maori cod to 2.6kg from the 12 mile. Coral trout to 4.6kg from the Blinker. Whiting in Kawana Waters canal and from the sand basin near the mouth. Mangrove jacks in the upper reaches on live bait at night.
Caloundra: Whiting and tailor from the bar on the incoming tide. Flathead and bream from the boardwalk. Bream and mangrove jack in the back ends of Pelican Waters. Whiting and bream in the middle reaches of Bells creek on poppers and small soft plastics and on the flats just out from the Power boat club.
