Noosa: Chardon’s reef has been producing good numbers of snapper along with 10kg plus Jew fish and scarlet sea perch. Trevally and mangrove jack to 2kg from lake Cooroibah on soft plastics and live herring. Flathead and bream along the Tewantin stretch and at the river mouth on the incoming tide.

Maroochydore: Large schools of tuna between the river mouth and Old Woman island. Mangrove jack and jewfish around the Bli Bli bridge at night. Trevally to 2kg and tailor from the cod hole on live herring. Bream and whiting around the Twin waters weir.

Kawana: Schools of tuna in the bay along with snapper and sweetlip from Murphy’s reef. Trevally and bream around the bridges and in the back ends of the canals on plastics and surface lures. Whiting from McKenzie’s bridge on live worms and nippers.

Caloundra: Tailor and whiting from the bar and along golden beach. Flathead, queenfish and chopper tailor from the Boardwalk on live herring. Whiting and flathead from the mouth of Bells creek. Mangrove jack through the upper reaches of Bells creek and Coochin creek.
