Noosa: Snapper, sweetlip and tuna from Sunshine reef. Dart and bream off the rocks throughout the national park. Scattered schools of whiting and bream from the river mouth and around the frying Pan. A few decent mud crabs in the upper reaches.

Maroochydore: Squire and sweetlip around Old Woman Island. Good numbers of flathead and trevally on soft plastics from the Bli Bli bridge and above. Trevally to 1.5kg and tailor from the cod hole on live herring and plastics on high tide. Bream to 27cm from the twin waters weir.

Kawana: Schools of tuna in the bay along with snapper and sweetlip from Murphy’s reef. Tailor, bream and flathead from the rock walls during the late afternoons. Whiting from McKenzie’s bridge on live worms and nippers.

Caloundra: Tailor and whiting from the river mouth and along golden beach. Flathead, queenfish and chopper tailor from the Boardwalk on live herring. Whiting and flathead from the mouth of Bells creek on nippers.
