Noosa: Chardon’s Reef has been producing pearl perch, sweetlip, snapper and Blue fin tuna up to 12kg. Dart, bream, flathead and tailor have been caught on pilchards and pipis from North shore beach. A few decent mud crabs in the upper reaches.

Maroochydore: Trevally around 1.5kg have been caught on soft plastics around the Cod hole. Flathead up to 80cm have been caught and released on live bait from Cotton Tree. Whiting to 40cm and bream to 35cm from the entrance of Maroochy waters canals through to the mouth.

Kawana: Sweetlip, coral trout and snapper to 3kg from the Inner Gneerings at night. Trevally, flathead and bream on soft plastics and blades on the top of the tide in the Canal systems. Bream and whiting on surface lures during dawn and dusk on the flats above McKenzie bridge.

Caloundra: Snapper and cobia from Caloundra Twelve Mile. Sweetlip and squire from Brays Rocks. Flathead and tailor from the Boardwalk during the making tide. Queenfish and bream in Pelican waters canals. Salmon are being caught throughout the passage on live bait and lures.

Matt spent the day fishing of Mooloolaba for a good feed of sweetlip and this tasty coral trout.
