Noosa: Chardon’s Reef has been producing pearl perch, sweetlip, snapper and Blue fin tuna up to 12kg. Trevally, whiting and flathead have been taken from the river mouth and along North shore. A few decent mud crabs in the upper reaches.
Maroochydore: Good size trevally and flathead have been caught on trolled hard bodies around Goat Island, Bli Bli bridge, and the Motorway bridge on the incoming tide. Whiting and bream from the entrance of Maroochy waters canals on live worms and prawns.
Kawana: Dart and whiting off the beaches on live sand worms. Trevally and bream up to 1kg on soft plastics and blades around the rock walls and pontoons on the incoming tide. Good dusky flathead from the lower Mooloolaba river around the sand banks.
Caloundra: Snapper and cobia from Caloundra Twelve Mile. Sweetlip and squire from Brays Rocks. Flathead and tailor from the Boardwalk during the making tide. There’s still a few Australian salmon being caught throughout the passage on live bait and lures.

Hayden spent the day fishing at the Cod Hole for this hefty 63cm Flathead.
