Noosa: Reports of schools of big greenback tailor in the gutters along Noosa North shore yesterday morning. Whiting and some good flathead from the river mouth, in Woods Bay and in behind the sound. Plenty of giant trevally to 2kg and the odd jack in Woods Bay, around the Sheraton Bridge and in Weyba Creek. Flathead around 50 to 60cm from the Tewantin Ski run.
Maroochydore: Whiting to 535g throughout the river with the better catches between Chambers Island and the river mouth on the run in tide using live worms and yabbies. On Friday there was a 76cm jew, tailor to 1kg, flathead to 69cm and trevally to 2kg either side of the motorway bridges. Flathead at Bli Bli and in north and south channels. Large sand crabs in the channel above Bli Bli and the cod hole.
Kawana: Good bream in around the moorings, and the rock walls as well as a few good whiting and the odd trevally. Good d usky flathead from the lower Mooloolaba river. Flathead and trevally in the canals and in Mountain Creek.
Caloundra: A few bigger tailor feeding in the top end of the passage and around the bar and tip of Bribie as well as solid dusky flathead around the drop offs. Flathead and whiting from Golden Beach. Whiting on bait and lure from Golden Beach and Currimundi Lake. Flathead, school jew and trevally in Pelican Waters canal and south of Bells Creek.

Bryan was fishing from Chambers Island using live sand worm when he nailed this 535g elbow slapper whiting.
