Noosa: Gold band snapper and scarlet sea perch from Double Island point. Snapper and Long tail from north reef. They are getting good catches of elbow slapper whiting and some big flathead from the entrance to the river and in Woods Bay.

Maroochydore: Coronation Trout, spangled emperor, red throat and parrot from the Barwon Banks. Sweetlip, squire, small tusk fish and grassy sweet lip are being caught on the close reefs. Plenty of long tail tuna out in the Bay at Mooloolaba. Sweetlip and bream off the Pincushion. Good whiting around Chambers Island and the river mouth. Flathead to 65cm between Eudlo Creek and Bli Bli Islands. Whiting in Maroochy Waters canal. Mud crabs in the middle and upper reaches.

Kawana: There’s been plenty of offshore action with the light winds early morning, with sweetlip, snapper, tusk fish and tuna being caught on the close reefs. Good bream a few good whiting showing up and the odd trevally off the rock wall. School jew in the lower reaches over night. Mud crabs to 1.3kg from the upper reaches.

Caloundra: Squire , grass sweetlip and tusk fish are being taken from Caloundra 5 and 9 Mile. Whiting, flathead and dart on the local beaches. Flathead and whiting from Golden Beach. School jew near Bullcock Beach. Flathead off the Boardwalk.
