Noosa: Getting gold ban snapper and scarlet sea perch from Double Island point. A beautiful 13.5kg Barra was caught in Woods Bays on a popper. Throughout the river they are getting good captures of elbow slapper whiting and some big flathead from the entrance to the river. Starting to see some good crabs coming through as well.

Maroochydore: There has been cobia at Murphy’s Reef and good numbers of grass sweetlip around as well. Good captures of whiting coming from the entrance to the river and the gutters along Mudjimba beach and also starting to see the whiting throughout the river along with good size flathead and trevally are still around the entrances to the creeks.

Kawana: Some good Sweetlip coming from the close reefs off Pt Cartwright. Tailor are still hanging around the entrance to the river on the outgoing tide harassing baitfish and a the odd jew is still being caught off the rock wall at night. And a good catch of mud crabs yesterday to 1.3kg from the upper reaches.

Caloundra: A few squire are being taken from Caloundra 5 and 9Mile. Some quality whiting, flathead and the odd dart around the local beaches. Good numbers of pan size flathead have moved in to the entrance to the Passage with captures up to 64cm. Still getting good numbers of flathead and the odd trevally off the board walk.

Debbie fished Double Island Point with the Maroochy RSL fishing club for a nice feed of dart and whiting.
