Noosa: The odd long tail tuna from the North Reef area. Starting to see some good numbers of bream and whiting from the entrance to the river. Trevally are still around the Woods Bays area and good flathead are being caught in the Woods Bays as well and with the warmer water temps a few mangrove jacks are showing up.
Maroochydore: A few tailor to 1kg taken off the sand bags around the river mouth this morning. Good numbers of quality whiting to 400g are moving around the Picnic Point area. Good numbers of trevally and the odd tailor at the entrance of Petrie Creek on soft plastics and the trevally are still chasing the herring around Chambers Island and the Cod Hole.
Kawana: There’s been snapper and sweetlip on the Outer Gneerings and school mackerel offshore from Alexandra Headland, on Currimundi and Coolum Reefs. There’s a few nice elbow slapper whiting are showing up on the local beaches with some tarwhine mixed in with them. Bream, trevally and tailor are chasing bait fish around the lower reaches of the Mooloolah river and There has also been some nice mud crabs coming from the upper reaches.
Caloundra: Good size whiting are in the gutters around golden beach on the outgoing tide. Some good jew fish around the turn of the tide in the deeper holes at night on live herring with the odd tailor coming to the boat aswell. Around the Boardwalk they are getting a mixed bag of flathead, trevally, the odd queenfish and tailor.

Michael Wilkinson went on a recent trip to the banks and came home with this beautiful pearl perch.
