Noosa: Long tail tuna to 16kg from Sunshine Reef. The tailor are still around the cuttings along the beach at dusk. Bream from the entrance to the river. Trevally are still around the Woods Bays area and a 5kg flathead was caught and released in the Woods Bays. The odd jack around the structure in Noosa Sound.

Maroochydore: Dart and whiting to 35cm along the north shore. Cale Cale, ginat and golden trevally between Chambers Island and Petrie Creek. Whiting to 39cm and big flathead around Goat and Channel Islands. Whiting to 400g between Minti and Yinni Streets off the bank. School jew around the bait fish schools in the middle reaches.

Kawana: School mackerel on the close in reefs around Mooloolaba. Whiting and Tarwhine between Kawana and Wurtulla beaches. Trevally and tailor from the rock walls on the high tide. Flathead and whiting around McKenzie’s Bridge. Some good golden trevally up to 2kg between Minyama Island and LaBalsa Park. Mud crabs coming from the upper reaches.

Caloundra: Good size whiting are in the gutters around golden beach on the outgoing tide. Big flathead to 80cm are being taken from the entrance to the passage. Luderick, bream and trevally from the boardwalk. School jew in the deeper holes.

Luke McCombe was flicking 3” gulp soft plastics off the bank along Bradman Avenue when he hooked this nice Cale Cale trevally that his son Seth is helping him hold up.
