Noosa: The tailor are still around the cut ins along the beach on pillies. Trevally are still around the Woods Bays area with the odd mangrove jack hanging under the trevally and a 5kg flathead was caught in the Woods Bays as well. Try around the moorings throughout the river for bream and trevally.

Maroochydore: Bream, Dart and good size whiting along the Mudjimba beach in the deeper cutters on worms and pipis. Plenty of flathead still being caught in the middle reaches of the river on both soft plastics and baits. Trevally are hanging around Chambers Island late in the afternoons on trolled lures.

Kawana: nice elbow slapper whiting are showing up on the local beaches with some tarwhine mixed in with them. Good bream in the canals on soft plastics and the odd trevally hanging around as well. Flathead and whiting around McKenzie’s Bridge.

Caloundra: Nice size whiting, bream and also some good pan size flathead just outside the entrance to the Passage. Big flathead to 80cm are being taken from the entrance to the passage on soft plastics and live bait. Good size bream, trevally and even the odd queenfish are being caught along the boardwalk.
