A 74cm flathead was caught and released from Picnic Point on Friday morning and there are plenty of catches in the 50 to 60cm range in the lower reaches.

Caloundra: Flathead around 50 to 60cm and the odd 70+cm female that should be released, from the top end of the passage, a few chopper tailor in the main channel and the odd trevally around the channel markers on the making tide. A few good bream and trevally in the canals on the making tide. There has been the odd mud crab or two in the creeks.
