Noosa: Try for tailor, dart and whiting along Teewah Beach. Flathead and bream in Weyba creek and in Woods Bay as well. Tailor up to 2.5kg are being caught at  the river mouth and along the beaches late in the afternoon. Worth a try for luderick off the river mouth car park rocks.

Maroochydore: With the full moon it would be worth chasing the jew in the river as they have been getting them up to 84cm from the cod hole and upper reaches and also in the gutters and off the rocks at Yaroomba.  Plenty of bream around even up to 600gms from the Twin Waters weir on the outgoing tide. Yesterday there were a few whiting to 36cm at Bli Bli. The whiting are also feeding in the gutters along Mudjimba and North Shore.

Kawana: Try for tailor from the river mouth and around the rocks at Pt Cartwright at dawn and dusk. Trevally in Kawana Waters, along La Balsa wall at the top of the tide and from McKenzie’s bridge. Bream throughout the river to 900g try around the moorings. Tailor, dart and the Winter whiting are starting to show on the beaches.

Caloundra: Cobia to 10kg are being caught at the coffee rock and the odd spotty mackerel from pt Cartwright to Old Women Island. Plenty of luderick along the boardwalk and near military jetty. Good pan size flathead from just inside the bar. Plenty of trevally in pelican waters.

Danny Brooks landed this 86cm jew in the upper reaches of the Maroochy River
