Noosa: Flathead between the entrance to the noose river and the Noosaville reach. Also bream and whiting from the entrance to the river on high tide and the back of Tewantin. Tailor and heaps of trevally around the 50cm mark in the Woods Bays. Luderick are prolific in the lower river off the car park rocks.

Maroochydore: Yesterday morning there were flathead to 50cm, golden trevally around 1.5kg, bream and grunter bream taken from the cod hole. Golden trevally, tailor and good bream from Yinni st on herring . Bream to 45cm in the mouth of cornmeal creek.

Kawana: Bream to 42cm and grass sweetlip in the wash around old Women Island. Tailor are being caught on the coffee rock off Pt Cartwright. Good cobia to 10kg from Murphy’s reef yesterday. Trevally from Minyama Island. The Hairtail are back at the pontoon at night.

Caloundra: Trevally and flathead in the deep channels between the bar and Bells Creek. Trevally and chopper tailor in Pelican waters. Luderick off the boardwalk. Bream from the Coast guard jetty. Chopper tailor and the odd one to 2kg off the north east tip of Bribie Island. Occasional jew over night in the deeper channels throughout the river.

Gavin spent the day fishing near cornmeal creek to pick up a feed of bream including this big 45cm specimen on the left.
