Noosa: Dart and tailor between the first and third cuttings and a few tailor off the rocks in the NP. Flathead, bream and whiting from the mouth on high tide. Tailor, and heaps of trevally around the 50cm mark in the Woods Bays. Flathead in Lake Cooroibah and the bar. Luderick in the lower river off the car park rocks.

Maroochydore: Trevally to 3.5kg, chopper tailor as well as an 85cm jew taken around the motorway bridge. Golden trevally to 1.5kg, bream to 35cm and big flathead from the bank near the cod hole boat ramp. Flathead throughout the river. Bream to 45cm in the mouth of cornmeal creek. Tailor and flathead along the beach between Mudjimba and Marcoola.

Kawana: Bream to 42cm and grass sweetlip in the wash around old Women Island. Jew and chopper tailor taken off the rock walls at night on the high tide. Gar and sand crabs in the lower river. Trevally from Minyama Island. Flathead and a mangrove jack from McKenzie’s bridge over night.

Caloundra: Trevally and flathead in the deep channels between the bar and Bells Creek. Trevally and chopper tailor in Pelican waters. Luderick off the boardwalk.  Bream from the Coast guard jetty. Chopper tailor and the odd one to 2kg off the north east tip of Bribie Island.

Young Mitch was fishing with his dad Guy in the Bli Bli area when they caught a few legal bream and whiting.
