Kawana: Dart, bream and whiting along the beaches. Giant and golden trevally from Kawana Island and the Weir. Chopper tailor and bream from the rock walls and Point Cartwright. Big bream around the boat moorings.
Caloundra: Bream off the rocks at Kings beach and wurtulla. School jew and trevally south of Bells Creek. Bream, trevally and chopper tailor on soft plastics in Pelican waters. Luderick and big bream off the boardwalk.

Dan fished in the freezing cold weather in the middle reaches of the Maroochy River using live bait and was rewarded with this 86cm jew fish.
