Maroochydore: Mac and long tail tuna on 20g Samiki jigs out from Maroochy River mouth. Tailor and trevally to 2kg between Chambers Island and the cod hole on last of the making tide. Bream to 40cm out from Yinni Street and the North Shore. Flathead to 50cm from Bli Bli.
Kawana: Spanish mackerel to 18kg and kingfish to 16kg from Murphy’s. Dart, bream and whiting along the beaches. Giant and golden trevally from Kawana Island and the Weir. Chopper tailor and bream from the rock walls and Point Cartwright. Big bream around the boat moorings.
Caloundra: Sweetlip and snapper around the 5 and 9 mile. Bream off the rocks at Kings beach. School jew and trevally south of Bells Creek. Bream, trevally and chopper tailor on soft plastics in Pelican waters. Luderick off the boardwalk.

Six year old Frankie McKenzies was fishing from Yinni Street with her family using fresh mullet for bait, when she caught her best bream to date, this solid 35cm specimen.
