Noosa: Snapper, sweetlip and the odd parrot from Sunshine Reef late in the afternoon. Tailor and dart off the rocks in the National park on metal slugs. Trevally and decent tailor from Woods bay on lures and in Noosa Waters. Flathead and whiting in the frying pan.

Maroochydore: Snapper, sweetlip and the odd big dart from Old Woman Island. Chopper tailor throughout the river on hard body lures and live herring. Luderick and bream from the Cod Hole on the incoming tide. School Jew in the upper reaches on live bait.

Kawana: Snapper, grass sweetlip and cobia to 8kg from Murphy’s Reef. Bream and hairtail around the trawlers and boat moorings at night. Chopper tailor and bream to 40cm from the rock walls and Point Cartwright. Bream, flathead and trevally in the back ends of the canal system.

Caloundra: Sweetlip and squire from Currimundi wide early in the morning and at night. Plenty of average sized flathead scattered throughout the river. Bream, trevally and chopper tailor on soft plastics in Pelican waters canals on the top of the tide. Luderick off the boardwalk.
