Noosa: Long tail and mac tuna in the bay and further north. Decent bream from the deeper channel just inside the mouth. Trevally and decent tailor from Woods bay on lures.
Maroochydore: Yesterday, there were several good cobia and mauri cod and snapper taken on the Gneerings. Long tail tuna to 14kg on trolled laser pro lures out from Coolum. Flathead between the Jet ski area and Godfrey’s road. Flathead and bream to 32cm from cotton tree spit. Chopper tailor in the southern channel. Bream and dart along Marcoola beach.
Kawana: Grass sweetlip, snapper and moses perch from the 12 mile. Grass sweetlip and snapper from Coolum Reef. Plenty of bream around the trawlers. Chopper tailor and trevally from the rock walls. Gar from the Kawana boat ramp pontoon. Flathead from the banks above McKenzie’s bridge on soft plastics.
Caloundra: Trevally and tailor just inside the bar. Plenty of average sized flathead scattered throughout the river. Bream around 700g from the blue hole. Whiting from the mouth of Bells creek. Luderick off the boardwalk.
Mitch and Brad were trolling around the Cod Hole for a few trevally and flathead.
