Noosa: Plenty of snapper and sweetlip on the local reefs. Bream from the deeper channel just inside the mouth. Trevally and decent tailor from Woods bay on lures and in Noosa Waters. Flathead in Weyba Creek.

Maroochydore: Snapper, trag jew, parrot and morwong from the Barwon Banks. Flathead are wide spread throughout the river. Bream from Yinni Street and the river mouth to 35cm. Chopper tailor in the southern channel. Flathead in the surf at Marcoola and Mudjimba beaches in the holes.

Kawana: Grass sweetlip, snapper and moses perch from the 12 mile. Grass sweetlip and snapper from Coolum Reef. Plenty of bream and Hairtail in the lower reaches over night. Chopper tailor and trevally from the rock walls. Gar and trevally from the Kawana boat ramp pontoon. Flathead from the banks above McKenzie’s bridge.

Caloundra: Trevally and tailor just inside the bar. Plenty of average sized flathead scattered throughout the river. Bream around 700g from the blue hole. Whiting from the mouth of Bells creek. Luderick off the boardwalk.

Lachlan fished with his grandfather Colin from the Sunshine Motorway bridge pylons for a few quality luderick to 1.1kg yesterday on the high tide.
