Noosa: The best run of trevally throughout the river in a long time with diamond trevally to 70cm and GT’s to 65. Flathead from Weyba creek. Trevally and flathead from Woods Bay on soft plastics. Whiting from the mouth and really big tailor mixed in with the schools of trevally.
Maroochydore: Trevally up to 3kg are still moving throughout the river. Plenty of flathead around the Bli Bli bridge and the sand banks. Tailor and trevally on trolled lures from the mouth to the Cod hole on the incoming tide and some really good healthy bream coming from the cod hole on Thursday.
Kawana: Gar are running through the river in big numbers. Bream to 1kg from the rock walls on pilchards and jew from the rock walls at night on the top of the tide. Keep in mind that the wind is going to die off over the weekend so it might be worth heading off sure to try get in to those tasty snapper.
Caloundra: Luderick off the board walk. Small snapper and sweetlip off the rocks at kings beach. Bream over 1kg from Happy Valley. Trevally through the river aswell as the odd tailor in the mix there. Whiting and flathead around the mouth to the canals.
