Noosa: Coral trout, tuskfish and trag jew from North reef and sweetlip and snapper on Sunshine reef. Whiting and dart from Noosa north shore and from the rocks at Double island point. Flathead and school jew along the makepeace island reach. Bream around the deep holes and snaggy banks throughout the river and tailor from the river mouth.
Maroochydore: Snapper to 6.1kg on the gneerings. Whiting, school jew and tailor from the surf around Yaroomba. Tailor on trolled lures in the cod hole. Trevally up to 2.2kg from the Cod Hole through to Chambers Island during the last of the incoming tide. Plenty of flathead throughout the river mainly around Chambers island. And the odd crab or two around the mouth of Petrie creek.
Kawana: Sweetlip, parrot and cobia wide of Murphy’s reef. Gar in the basin. Tailor and whiting out from access 1 along Kawana beach. Squire, bream and tailor from Point Cartwright in the late afternoon on pilchards and squid.
Bream, whiting and a few tailor along Kawana beach. Bream, garfish and Hairtail in the lower reaches of the Mooloolah River.
Caloundra: Pearl perch and pigfish from Caloundra wide. Snapper and Cobia from the 5mile. Trevally and chopper tailor in the canals. Luderick along the boardwalk and Bream over 1kg from Happy Valley. Snapper around the bray rock and coffee rock at the northern end of Bribie Island.
