Noosa: Snapper, pearlies, Moses perch and Maori cod from North reef. Good numbers of Bream and tailor near the rocks at Double Island. Trevally and tailor from Woods bay on plastics and around the river mouth. Flathead around 60cm between the lakes.

Maroochydore: Sweetlip around Old Woman Island at night. Tailor up to 2kg from the Cod Hole on high tide. Mudjimba beach has had bream, flathead and a few school jew from the deeper gutters. Flathead between 60cm and 70cm from the Bli Bli markers. Large numbers of bream to 35cm from the Bli Bli bridge at night.

Kawana: Red throat, tuskfish and snapper to 6kg at the banks. Spangled emperor, Spanish mackerel, snapper and Moses perch from Murphy’s. Good numbers of whiting and bream along Kawana beach. Bream over 1kg around the trawlers. Plenty of garfish on fresh prawns.

Caloundra: Currimundi reef has had sweetlip and small snapper while wide Caloundra has had pearlies and quality snapper. Dart along Currimundi beach on the high tide. Trevally at the mouth of Coochin creek. Flathead and bream from Military jetty at night.

With the cooler temperatures the tailor are showing up and Sal Furador caught this 63cm fish from the Cod Hole.
