oosa: Snapper, pearlies, Moses perch and Maori cod from North reef. Dart, tailor to 2.5kg and school jew from the gutters north of Teewah. A few whiting from the Frying Pan on live worms. Trevally and tailor from Woods bay on plastics and around the river mouth. Munna point has had a few Jew and trevally on trolled lures.

Maroochydore: School Jew past the Bli Bli bridge. Mudjimba beach has had bream, flathead and a few school jew from the deeper gutters. Trevally up to 1.5kg on soft plastics around Channel Island. Flathead between 60cm and 70cm from the Bli Bli markers. Bream and flathead from the southern channel. Large numbers of bream to 35cm from the Bli Bli bridge at night.

Kawana: Red throat, tuskfish and snapper to 6kg at the banks. Spangled emperor, Spanish mackerel, snapper and Moses perch from Murphy’s. Good numbers of whiting and bream along Kawana beach. Bream over 1kg around the trawlers. Plenty of garfish on fresh prawns.

Caloundra: Snapper from Caloundra 7mile and the 12 mile. Sweetlip from Raper shoal. Dart along Currimundi beach on the high tide. Trevally at the mouth of Coochin creek. Flathead and bream from Military jetty at night. Jewfish and bream from the blue hole on live bait.

The offshore conditions were perfect over the weekend so Andrew and Steven headed out to the Gneerings and caught this Spaniard and red throat emperor.
