Noosa: Longtail tuna and the odd spotty mackerel in Laguna bay. Trevally from Woods bay on high tide. Tailor from the mouth on dusk. Whiting on the beach just north of the mouth. Flathead and bream along Noosaville. Jewfish from Munna point. Mud crabs between the lakes.

Maroochydore: Bream up to 850g from Mudjimba beach. Whiting, dart and flathead up to 66cm from the sandbags. Godfrey’s road has had trevally, jew and flathead. Still the odd jack in Eudlo creek. Bream and whiting on poppers around Chambers island on the run out tide. Trevally on soft plastics from the cod hole.

Kawana: The occasional Longtail tuna has been caught just out from the rock walls. Tailor from the rocks at Point Cartwright and also from the beaches. Good numbers of bream and gar are starting to show up around the sand basin. Plenty of hair tail up to 1m around the lower reaches at night. Queenfish from the rock walls. Sand crabs at the spit and the mouth.

Caloundra: The beaches have been producing dart, tailor and a few jew. Trevally and queenfish at the entrance to the canals. Plenty of flathead throughout the lower reaches. Bream and trevally in Pelican waters canals. Mud crabs in the creeks.
