Noosa: Coral trout, red emperor and snapper from North Reef. Longtail tuna and the odd spotty mackerel in Laguna bay. Jewfish from Munna point. Large amounts of flathead throughout the river system along with plenty of bream. Mud crabs between the lakes.

Maroochydore: Whiting and dart from Pin Cushion. Flathead and bream from the Bli Bli bridge to the mouth of Petrie creek. Bream, whiting on poppers around Chambers island on the run out tide. Flathead on soft plastics and live herring from Goat Island, Channel Island and the river mouth.

Kawana: Good numbers of bream and gar are starting to show up around the sand basin. Plenty of hair tail up to 1m around the lower reaches at night. Flathead and whiting from McKenzie bridge. Sand crabs at the spit and the mouth. Mud crabs are being pushed out of the upper reaches with the recent rain.

Caloundra: Bream and tailor from the blue hole and the board walk on the incoming tide. Plenty of flathead throughout the lower reaches. Whiting in Bells creek and out from the powerboat club on poppers and live nippers. Bream and trevally in Pelican waters canals. Mud crabs in the creeks.
