Noosa: Coral trout, red emperor and snapper from North Reef. Jewfish and trevally from Munna Point on surface lures and live bait. Large amounts of flathead throughout the river system along with plenty of bream. Mud crabs between the lakes.

Maroochydore: Whiting and dart from Pin Cushion. School jew and trevally around the Bli Bli bridge on high tide. Bream, whiting on poppers around Chambers island on the run out tide. Flathead on soft plastics and live herring from Goat and Channel Island. Mud crabs above Bli Bli bridge.  

Kawana: Bream and Gar around the sand basin. Dart and whiting along Warana beach. Trevally and giant herring in Kawana lakes . Flathead and whiting from McKenzie bridge on nippers and soft plastics during the start of the outgoing tide. Sand crabs at the spit.

Caloundra: Bream and tailor from the blue hole on herring. Plenty of flathead throughout the lower reaches. Whiting in Bells creek and out from the powerboat club on poppers and live nippers. A few mangrove jack have are still being caught in Pelican waters canals. Mud crabs in the creeks.
