Noosa: Longtail tuna and a few spotty mackerel in the Bay. Pearl perch and coral trout on Sunshine reef. Plenty of dart and a few tailor from Teewah. Grunter bream and flathead from Weyba creek. Jew on plastics from Tewantin. Trevally and some big flathead in Woods Bay. Mud crabs between the lakes.

Maroochydore: A 15kg Spanish mackerel, parrot, pearl perch and grass sweetlip from Murphy’s Reef. Snapper to 1kg from Old Women Island. Grunter bream to 42cm from the Cod Hole boat ramp.  Flathead to 71cm from Picnic Point and the mouth of Petrie Creeks. Whiting and flathead from the Black banks. Mud crabs above Bli Bli bridge.  

Kawana: Pearl perch, parrot and snapper to 8kg from the Banks. Murphy’s has had Moses perch, sweetlip and snapper. Dart and whiting along Warana beach. Tailor have been taken on pilchards from Point Cartwright rocks during the late afternoon. Grunter bream and whiting around McKenzie’s bridge on the outgoing tide. Sand crabs at the spit.

Caloundra: Longtail tuna on Currimundi reef. Sweetlip and small snapper around Bray’s rock. Bream up to 1.3kg near the power boat club. Chopper tailor and whiting from the river mouth on the incoming tide. School jew in Pelican waters canal. Mud cabs around the creeks.
