Noosa: School jew along Tewantin on live bait. Flathead, whiting and plenty of bream around the mouth through to the Frying pan. Chopper tailor from the Frying Pan. A few trevally around the Sheraton bridge. Mud crabs between the lakes.
Maroochydore: Tailor from Marcoola beach. Whiting in the surf at Mudjimba. School Jew between Bli Bli bridge and the cod hole on the high tide on 4inch soft plastics. Flathead around 60cm were caught from the mouth of Petrie creek. Mud crabs above Bli Bli bridge.
Kawana: Dart, whiting and bream along Warana beach. Trevally and tailor from the rock walls. Trevally and a few bream from Kawana lakes on surface lures in the late afternoon. Sand crabs at the spit.
Caloundra: The mouth of Coochin creek has had grunter, whiting and flathead. School jew in Pelican waters canal. Golden trevally and bream along the boardwalk . Mud cabs around the creeks.
Darrin Hamilton and Gisle Hemmy from Swan Boat Hire had a session at Currimundi Reef recently for a few good mixed reef fish.
