Noosa: School jew along Tewantin. Flathead, whiting and plenty of bream around the mouth. Flathead, trevally and the odd tailor in Woods Bay on trolled lures. Mud crabs between the lakes.
Maroochydore: Average tailor from Marcoola beach. Plenty of whiting and a few dart from Coolum beach. School Jew between Bli Bli bridge and the cod hole at night. A few mangrove jacks are still being caught in the canals on live bait. Grunter bream in the upper reaches. Mud crabs in the upper reaches.
Kawana: Bream, hair tail and trevally from La Balsa and the Kawana boat ramp. Trevally from Kawana lakes on surface lures in the late afternoon. Plenty of prawns throughout the river system so get out there and throw the cast net. Mud crabs throughout the river.
Caloundra: Bream and trevally on live bait from Military Jetty. The mouth of Coochin creek has had grunter, whiting and flathead. Whiting on live worms in the lower reaches. Tailor from the northern tip of Bribie Island. Good size flathead from the Bar on the incoming tide. Mud cabs around the upper reaches.

Even though it is late in the season there are still a few muddies around, Trevor Sheard potted these ones over 1kg in the passage.
