Noosa: Mac tuna, Longtail tuna and the odd spotty mackerel just north of the bar. Flathead, whiting and plenty of bream around the mouth. Grunter bream and flathead from Weyba creek. Flathead, trevally and the odd Tailor in Woods Bay on trolled lures. Mud crabs between the lakes.

 

Maroochydore: Plenty of whiting and a few dart from Coolum beach. Whiting and flathead up to 65cm from the Black banks. Grunter bream in the upper reaches. Bream throughout the river in large numbers. Mud crabs in the upper reaches.

 

Kawana: Bream, hair tail and trevally from La Balsa and the Kawana boat ramp. Trevally from Kawana lakes on surface lures in the late afternoon. Plenty of prawns throughout the river system so get out there and throw the cast net. Mud crabs throughout the river.

 

Caloundra: Bream and trevally on live bait from Military Jetty. Tailor from the northern tip of Bribie Island. Good size flathead from the Bar on the incoming tide. Golden trevally and bream from the boardwalk. Mud cabs around the upper reaches.

Matt, Newan and Joe spent the morning fishing off shore to land this good feed of tusk fish, sweetlip and coral trout.
