Noosa: Wahoo to 20kg, cobia and Spanish mackerel from Chardon’s reef. Trevally from Munna point. Grunter bream and flathead from Weyba creek. Whiting and flathead to 72cm from the mouth. Mud crabs and grunter bream between the lakes.

Maroochydore: Plenty of whiting and a few dart from Coolum beach. Dart, bream over 1kg and school Jew along Mudjimba beach. There have been a few prawns around the waterfront hotel at night. School jew from the cod hole. Bream and whiting from Chambers Island. Mud crabs in the upper reaches.

Kawana: Grassy sweetlip, tuskfish and a few spotties from the Gneerings. Pearl perch, sweetlip and cod from the Barwon banks. Bream from La Balsa and a few trevally from the Kawana boat ramp. Tailor, tarwhine and bream from the rocks at Point Cartwright. Mud crabs throughout the river.

Caloundra: Longtail tuna from Bray’s rock. Snapper from Caloundra 5 mile. Whiting at the entrance to Currimundi lake. A few tailor are starting to show up off the NE tip Bribie. Trevally around 1kg at the mouth of the creeks on plastics. Mud cabs around the upper reaches.

With the good conditions over the weekend Andy went out to Murphy’s and got into some cobia and spangled emperor.
