Noosa: Trag Jew, Moses perch, cobia and Spanish mackerel from Chardon’s reef. There are still a few Jacks in Noosa sound. Tailor, dart and bream from Noosa north shore. Jewfish to 85cm from the mouth on live bait and big flesh baits. Mud crabs and grunter bream between the lakes.

 

Maroochydore: Coral trout, sweetlip and parrot on the Outer Gneerings. Dart and school Jew along Mudjimba beach. Jew up to 5kg from the cod hole overnight. Bream and whiting from Chambers Island. Flathead to  62cm from Picnic Pint and Chambers island on soft plastics. Mud crabs in the upper reaches.

 

Kawana: Spotty and Spanish Mackerel from Murphy’s reef. Pearl perch, sweetlip and cod from the Barwon banks. Giant herring and bream in the Kawana lakes on surface lures. Tailor, bream and the odd whiting along Kawana beach. Grunter bream and the odd jack past McKenzie’s bridge. Mud crabs throughout the river.

 

Caloundra: Grassy sweetlip around Bray’s rock. Snapper and pearl perch from wide Caloundra and a few sweetlip from Currimundi. A few tailor are starting to show up off the NE tip Bribie. Trevally around 1kg at the mouth of the creeks on plastics. Mud cabs around the upper reaches.

Anthony Kelly found a good gutter along the beach and caught this 78cm tailor on mullet flesh.
