Noosa: Whiting, bream and flathead around the Double Island rocks. Jew between Tewantin and Lake Coorooibah. Flathead and whiting from the mouth to the Frying Pan. Trevally and Tailor in Woods Bay. Mud crabs between the lakes.

Maroochydore: Dart and a few school jew from Marcoola beach. Bream and tailor to 72cm from Alexandra Headlands on Pilchards. Whiting up to 35cm from Bli Bli on the high tide. Big eye trevally and chopper tailor from the cod hole on high tide. Bream and whiting from the mouth of the canals. Mud crabs in the upper reaches.

Kawana: Bream up to 1kg in the lower reaches. Flathead on 4 inch plastics in the lower reaches. Good dart and whiting along the beaches. Grunter bream and the odd jack past McKenzie’s bridge. Mud crabs throughout the river.

Caloundra: A few tailor are starting to show up off the NE tip Bribie. Whiting on live worms near Golden Beach. Bream and flathead around the coastguard jetty. Flathead and trevally around Military Jetty. Mud cabs around the upper reaches.

Victoria was out fishing with her mum on the Gneerings when this 93cm Amberjack took off on her rod and she managed to land it with a bit of help.
