Noosa: Pearl Perch, coral trout and a few snapper on Sunshine Reef. Trevally around the Sheraton Bridge and Woods Bay. Whiting and dart from Teewah on live worms. Flathead and whiting from mouth to  the Frying Pan. Mangrove Jack in the back of the sound at night. Mud crabs between the lakes.

Maroochydore: Sweetlip, mosses perch and Maori Cod from the Inner Gneerings. Flathead and tailor from Petrie creek mouth on prawns. Bream to 1kg from the cod hole. Flathead to 64cm from the Bli Bli flats on pilchards. Mud crabs in the upper reaches.

Kawana: Coral trout, pearl perch, mosses perch and sweetlip from the Murphy’s and the Blinker. Bream and trevally from the boat moorings and Kawana boat ramp at night. Mangrove jack and flathead from the weir on live bait at night. Sand crabs in the lower reaches.

Caloundra: Sweetlip and snapper from Currimundi .Whiting from Golden beach and out from the Power boat club. Trevally and bream on small hard body lures in Pelican Waters Canals. Grunter bream and school jew at the mouth of Coochin creek on live prawns and herring. Mud cabs around the upper reaches.

Andy Gunn got up before the crack of dawn to land a nice feed of snapper and sweetlip at the Inner Gneerings.
