Noosa: Whiting just south of the first cutting along Teewah. Mangrove jack around the Sheraton Bridge. Trevally, flathead and grunter along the Tewantin reach. Mud crabs between the lakes.
Maroochydore: Grunter bream up to 35cm from Petrie creek. Whiting and dart along Mudjimba beach and near Pincushion in the mornings. Bream and flathead out from Godfrey’s Road. School jew and the odd jack around the Bli Bli islands. Mud crabs in the upper reaches.
Kawana: Whiting and bream from Mooloolaba beach early morning. Grunter bream in the upper reaches along with a few whiting on the top of the tide. Cod and jacks from the weir at night. Sand crabs in the lower reaches. Mud crabs in the canals.
Caloundra: Whiting out from the Power boat club on live worms. Golden trevally from the canals. Bream and mangrove jacks from Bells creek and off the boardwalk. Mud cabs around the upper reaches .
