Noosa: Whiting just south of the first cutting along Teewah. Mangrove jack, trevally and flathead in Woods Bay at night on Gladiator Prawn lures. Trevally, flathead and grunter along the Tewantin reach. Mud crabs between the lakes.

Maroochydore: Grunter bream up to 35cm from Petrie creek. Flathead have been caught and released up to 85cm on trolled lures around the Bli Bli bridge to the mouth of Petrie Creek. Bream and flathead out from Godfrey’s Road. School jew and the odd jack around the Bli Bli islands. Whiting from the Black banks and goat Island. Mud crabs in the upper reaches.

Kawana: Flathead, dart and whiting from Kawana beach on soft plastics and pipis. Tarpon and trevally in Lake Kawana on surface lure during dusk and dawn. Cod and jacks from the weir at night. Sand crabs in the lower reaches. Mud crabs in the canals.

Caloundra: Whiting out from the Power boat club on live worms. Golden trevally from the canals. Bream and mangrove jacks from Bells creek and off the boardwalk. Mud cabs around the upper reaches .
