Noosa: School Jew around Tewantin on live bait. Trevally, mangrove jacks and tailor in Woods bay and the back of the sound on lures and live herring. Tailor, whiting and flathead from the mouth on the incoming tide. Mud crabs between the lakes.
Maroochydore: Bream up to 35cm from Twin waters and the southern channel. Tailor up to 1kg have been caught between the Cod hole and the Bli Bli bridge. Good numbers of trevally on soft plastics at the Cod hole on high tide. School Jew to 76cm in the upper reaches on live bait.
Kawana: Bream, dart and whiting along Kawana Beach. Cod and jacks from the weir at night. Bream and trevally around the trawlers, Kawana boat ramp pontoon and in the canal system. Mud crabs in the canals and near McKenzie’s Bridge.
Caloundra: Dart and bream from Moffat beach. Flathead just inside the bar and from the boardwalk. Bream, trevally and the occasional mangrove jack on soft plastics in Pelican waters canals. Mangrove Jacks and Tarpon in Bells Creek . Mud cabs around the upper reaches .

Blake went trolling around Double Island point recently and ended up with this impressive Spanish Mackerel.
