Noosa: Yellow tail and long tail tuna in the bay. Plenty of dart, whiting and a few tarwhine along Teewah. Trevally, mangrove jacks and big schools of tailor in Woods bay and the back of the sound on the high tide. Tailor, whiting and flathead from the mouth.
Maroochydore: Spotty mackerel and long tail tuna between Maroochy River Mouth and Yaroomba. Dart, flathead and jew fish to 86cm from Mudjimba beach and the river mouth. School Jew and Mangrove Jack to 2.6kg from the cod hole. Whiting to 40cm and flathead from the Black banks and Cotton tree on live worms.
Kawana: Grass sweetlip and quality bream from point Cartwright during dawn. Good size trevally at night from the rock walls and the pontoon at Kawana boat ramp. Bream and the odd trevally in the mariner on small hard body lures. Good catches of whiting and dart along Kawana beach from accesses 4 , 8 and 9.
Caloundra: Big flathead , bream from the boardwalk on live herring. Bream and golden trevally throughout the lower reaches. Mangrove Jacks up the backend of Bells creek on lures and live bait. Mud cabs in Pelican waters canals and the upper reaches .

Michael Sizer was fishing unweighted prawn baits off Chambers Island Bridge when he caught this 32cm yellow fin bream.
