Noosa: Spanish Mackerel, cobia and grass sweetlip around North Reef. Quality dart from the mouth and also from Teewah. Mangrove jacks, trevally and tailor from Weyba creek and in Woods Bays. Whiting and quality bream near the Sheraton. Mud crabs in the canals and upper reaches.

Maroochydore: Parrot and a few spangled emperor from the blinker. Trevally around 2kg from Bli Bli on lures. Whiting to 35cm from Twin Waters. Flathead around Channel Island. Plenty of bream in the canals and at the mouth of Cornmeal Creek. Mud crabs above Bli Bli bridge.

Kawana: Red throat and Mahi Mahi from the banks. Dart, bream and whiting from Kawana beach at low tide. Tailor and bream from Point Cartwright. Bream and cod around the trawlers. Mud crabs in the canals and upper reaches.

Caloundra: Sweetlip and Parrot from Currimundi reef. Mangrove Jack and grunter bream from Bells Creek. Dart, whiting and the odd tailor from Moffat beach and Happy Valley. Mangrove Jacks and queenfish at the mouth of the canals. Mud crabs in the deeper holes.

Laucky, Scott and Sharky were fishing around the Gneerings when they hooked this 9.6kg Longtail Tuna.
