Noosa: The Tewantin stretch has been producing bream, cod and flathead. Mangrove jacks, trevally and tailor from Weyba creek and in Woods Bays. Bream and flathead around the mouth on live bait. Whiting from the banks near Munna Point. Mud crabs in the canals.
Maroochydore: Whiting to 35cm from the back of Chambers Island. Bream to 620g from the cod hole on the bottom of the tide. Flathead and trevally from Twin Waters weir. Grunter bream from the mouth of Eudlo creek. Whiting and flathead from Mudjimba beach. Mud crabs in the middle reaches.
Kawana: Bream and cod from Kawana Waters Lock. Grunter bream and a few whiting past McKenzie's bridge early morning. Bream, tarwhine and whiting along Kawana beach. Trevally from Kawana boat ramp and the rock walls. Mud crabs in the canals and upper reaches.
Caloundra: Dart, whiting and the odd tailor from Moffat beach and Happy Valley. Mangrove Jack from the Pelican Waters bridge. Whiting on live worms from the Power boat club. Bream and golden trevally from the boardwalk. Mud crabs in the deeper holes.
Luke Becroft and Ralph McDonald used live bait on Murphy's reef to tempt these Yellowtail Kingfish and Jewfish.
