Noosa: Mangrove jacks, trevally and tailor from Weyba creek. Bream and flathead around the mouth on live bait. Whiting, dart and tailor from Teewah and Noosa North shore. Whiting from the banks near Munna Point.
Maroochydore: Whiting around 30cm and just legal bream from Picnic Point. Flathead and trevally from Twin Waters weir. Grunter bream from the mouth of Eudlo creek. Trevally, tailor and jew from the Cod Hole on high tide. Mud crabs in the upper reaches to 1.8kg.
Kawana: Bream and cod from Kawana Waters Lock. Whiting around the sand basin. Bream, tarwhine and whiting along Kawana beach. Trevally from Kawana boat ramp and the rock walls. Mud crabs in the canals and upper reaches.
Caloundra: Dart, whiting and the odd tailor from Moffat beach and Happy Valley. Whiting and bream in the gutters around Currimundi lake. Flathead from just inside the bar on lures. Whiting on live worms from the Power boat club. Bream and golden trevally from the boardwalk.
Julie Neisler and Nathan Jacobs from the Yandina Fishing Club caught these Jacks to 1.5kg on a recent trip in the Noosa river.
